In 2008, we invested in a state-of-the-art Fresh Cut facility, which has experienced tremendous growth, which we believe stems from our company’s pride in craftsmanship — both in the facility itself, and in the produce items we prepare daily.
Customers have raved about the high-quality taste and texture of the finished products we offer, washed and ready for use by the end consumer. Our Fresh Cut staff members use a mix of machine and hand cuts to process orders, delivering consistently sized items year-round to the exact specifications requested by customers. Our Fresh Cut department is flexible and offers fast turn-around on test or special request items.
The Fresh Cut facility adheres to strict food safety practices (read more about our commitment to food safety here). We test for Brix levels and have set minimum Brix Level standards for each item.
Our Fresh Cut facility is USDA organic certified, and we take every precaution to keep our pre-cut items in compliance with all USDA organic requirements. We use wash water that is compliant with USDA organic requirements, and all of our GMPs and SSOPs have been USDA approved. All organic pre-cut orders must be purchased on a pre-order program basis.
